Expressive Art – Monday Afternoons 3:30-5pm

Virdell Hickman will teach a Monday afternoon class that will include drawing, acrylics and watercolor, focusing on the fundamentals of shape, form, shading, perspective and color theory.  We will also cover mixed media, digital art, photography and sculpture.  All materials will be provided.

We all know how important a creative and academic education is to a child's well being and sense of self. Once children can feel confident with expressing themselves creatively, they will make great strides academically, and their world becomes a more colorful place.

START w/Art - Preschool Classes - Mondays 1:30-2pm

Let START w/Art be your first stop for creative fun this fall. START w/Art classes engage the whole child, teach skills, increase self-confidence, attention span, awareness of the visual and tactile world, and foster integration of the senses. Each week our youngest artists work on two to three topical projects and will finish at least one of them to take home from each class. Expect a balance of drawing, painting and craft-based projects. This class is for 4-5 years of age (child only 1:30-2:15pm)
