REGISTRATION
& POLICIES
Registrations accepted on a first-come, first-served
basis. Register by telephone (credit card only), by mail or in person.
Tuition must be paid at the time of registration. No student is considered
registered until all fees are paid. We cannot make confirmation calls,
however students are notified in the event of a cancellation. Registration
deadline is 5pm, seven days prior to the course start date.
One make-up class will be offered per student.
Make-up classes must be made within the following session.
Payment
Pay by cash, check or credit card. Studio 333 accepts
MasterCard, Visa and American Express. No credit card purchases under $10.
A twenty-five dollar fee will be charged for all returned checks.
Refunds
Refunds are available only if a course is canceled
by Studio 333. Students canceling an enrollment before the registration
deadline will receive tuition credit, minus a $5 processing fee.
Notes
Adult & Teen students provide their own materials
unless otherwise noted. Studio 333 provides materials for childrenšs
classes. Studio 333 attempts to reschedule any course that is cancelled.
Substitute instructors may be hired without advance notification. Minimum
enrollment for all courses is 3 students unless otherwise noted. All classes
are held at Studio 333. Classroom activities may be photographed for Studio
333 promotional use.

Gesture Drawing
Students
will learn to draw quick sketches focusing on letting go of
pre-conceived ideas and mental pictures of what objects should
look like and focusing on the emotional or intent of the
object/model.

Mandalas
This
project allows the children to become familiar with art forms in
other cultures. Mandalas express beauty, harmony, and balance. A circle is created
on a piece of paper, and with colored pencils the students draw
pictures and designs around the circle, drawing the same thing
on every opposite side creating balance and symmetry.

Scratch
Drawing
Students
cover a page with crayon color then paint the whole thing black
then scratch away to reveal lines of dramatic color. Shows the
value of layering and the joy of discovering what lies beneath.

Color Theory/Color WheelsStudents
will learn how to create secondary and tertiary colors
starting from the three Basic
primary colors. Students
will then add values of light and dark to those colors to
learn about mixing colors and filling in the appropriate
spectrum of the color wheel.

Self-Portraits

Students
will learn about mixing flesh tones, mixed media application and
painting with acrylics.

Painting
like the Masters
Students will
learn about the masters of the art world. Projects will be created using
paint to learn the techniques of the Masters. |

Emotional
Drawing
Students will gain
an understanding of how emotion plays a role in art making.
The connection between line, color, texture, and shape will be
explored as students discover how to express certain feelings
through art.

learn the key concepts of one-point perspective drawing. .

on Found Objects
Students
will explore painting of found objects, design concepts and
personal expression.

Mask
Making
This
project allows students to see themselves from another
perspective and allows them to express themselves in any way,
whether they want to show how they feel about themselves on the
outside or the inside.
It is a really fun project that allows creativity and
self- expression as well as trust for the person who is covering
your face.

Studio 333 Art Camp Cancellation Policy:
There is a $50 handling fee for all cancellations.
All camps require a non refundable
$50 deposit to hold space for child. |
