Mandalas

This project allows the children to become familiar with art forms in other cultures. Mandalas express beauty, harmony, and balance. A circle is created on a piece of paper, and with colored pencils the students draw pictures and designs around the circle, drawing the same thing on every opposite side creating balance and symmetry.
