Design and Stitch Your Family Flower Garden
Did you know every month has a designated flower? In this beginner embroidery class you will be able to design and stitch your family's flower garden based on their birth month flowers. Instructor Rosanna Diggs will teach you everything you need to know about getting started, designing your unique hoop, and all the stitches to complete your piece. Class includes everything you need to complete your embroidery. Students can expect to complete most or all of their embroidery project in class and leave with materials and inspiration to keep on stitching. Fabric choices available in class.
Handout: Kit comes with full instructions & patterns to take home to use again. Additional hoops & fabric will be available for purchase in class.
About the instructor:
Rosanna Diggs is a fiber artist from Alameda. She has been working with needle and thread for over 20 years, having learned embroidery from her mother at an early age. Rosanna is known for her intricate house portrait embroideries and has been featured on the cover of Be Creative Magazine. She is a proud member of the Society for Embroidered Work and the Alameda Art Association.
